• Biodiesel

Global Fuels uses natural plant oils to produce a high quality biodiesel that will meet or exceed ASTM D6751 standards. Using a blend of plant oils we provide a biodiesel that has excellent cold operation properties.

Welcome To Global Fuels

Headquartered in Dexter Missouri, Global Fuels has a prime location to serve MO, AR, IL, KY, and TN with 5 million gallons of annual biodiesel production. We have provided biodiesel to the region now for 7 years and with upgrades and expansion we plan to continue providing clean, renewable, and domestic fuel to consumers for years to come.

Why Choose Biodiesel?

Air Quality

Compared with using petroleum diesel, using biodiesel substantially reduces tailpipe emissions including:

Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Sulfates, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Nitrated Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons, and Particulate Matter (PM).

Energy Security and Balance

The United States imports about half of its petroleum. This puts the United States at risk for trade deficits, supply disruption, and price changes.

Biodiesel is made from oils and fats that are grown in the United States. This not only helps American Farmers but also reduces our reliance on Foreign Oil.

Engine Operation

Biodiesel naturally lubricates diesel engines reducing wear and increasing efficiency.

Biodiesel naturally replaces the lubricity of diesel fuel that is stripped when the sulfur is removed.

Biodiesel can increase lubricity to diesel fuels at blend levels as low as 1%.

Biodiesel is nontoxic and does not pose a large risk of combustion if spilled because Biodiesel is completely biodegradable.

It is safer than petroleum diesel because it is less combustible. The flash point of Biodiesel is 130 degrees celcius versus petroleum diesel which is 52 degrees celcius.

Produced Locally

Biodiesel is produced locally, providing jobs and fuel to nearly every region in the United States.

Small and large biodiesel plants are dotted across America unlike petroleum refineries which are concentrated along the coasts.

Sustainable Energy

Biodiesel is created from renewable resources including animal fats, vegetable oil, and used cooking oil.  Crude oil is only available in limited quantities and once we use it, it is gone.

However, biodiesel can be created indefinitely and does not harm the environment when creating it.
