  • Air BP, Neste offer biojet fuel at airports in Sweden, France

    Air BP announced it is offering sustainable aviation fuel to general and business aviation customers and aircraft manufacturers at Stockholm Arlanda airport in Sweden and Caen Carpiquet airport in France. The biojet fuel is produced by Neste Corp.
  • Aemetis wins large biodiesel contract with mining co. in India

    Aemetis announced May 20 that its Universal Biofuels India subsidiary was awarded a large ongoing supply contract for distilled biodiesel by a multisite mining company for use in dump trucks and other heavy diesel equipment at mines in India.

    High Plains Bioenergy and its biodiesel marketing division HPB Biodiesel Inc., subsidiaries of Seaboard Corp. and owner of two U.S. biodiesel plants, have changed names to Seaboard Energy Marketing Inc. Its biodiesel plant names have also changed.
  • AGQM launches 1st no-harm test for biodiesel cold flow improvers

    Germany’s biodiesel quality management association AGQM has launched a new no-harm test for cold flow improvers for use in biodiesel as a blend component in fuel. The no-harm test for cold flow improvers consists of testing B100 and a blended B10.
  • Task forces to find long-term solutions to temporary tax policy

    U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Ranking Member Ron Wyden announced the formation of several bipartisan task forces to examine temporary tax provisions that expired, or will expire, between Dec. 31, 2017, and Dec. 31, 2019.
