Global Fuels uses a combination of acid esterification and transesterification to convert waste oils into methylesters (biodiesel) that can be used to power trucks, busses, farm equipment, and many other vehicles. Newly finished (March 2014) process upgrades allow for production of very high quality biodiesel from low quality feedstocks.

Upgrades to the transesterification system allow for more production with a more efficient chemical reaction. New systems were installed to allow for a wider variety of feedstock usage, these include feedstock oil bleaching, acid esterification, and a cold soak system.
